Tahini sauce
Tahini sauce is magic sauce, it makes everything more delicious.
Drizzle it over roasted vegetables, like in Roasted aubergines with za’atar and tahini sauce. Or use it as a dressing in Aubergines with lentil tabbouleh, or on your otherwise boring salad.
Tahini sauce
Creamy tahini sauce goes well with salads, chicken, pretty much anything.
Ingredients
- 100 g tahini
- 50 ml water more or less, depends on how runny you like it
- 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1-2 tbsp olive oil
- 1-2 cloves of garlic roasted if you like a softer taste
- salt & pepper
- za'atar optional
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients in a blender (or in a bowl by hand). Put in only a little bit of water at first, and add more depending how runny you'd like your sauce.
Notes
Make sure you shake up your tahini container beforehand, sometimes the oils and the solids separate.
